Dr. Ozzie
Dr. Ozzie Jafarnia is a board-certified pediatric dentist, laser certified by the American Board of Laser Dentistry, who specializes in airway and oral function. Her passion for helping infants and children thrive stems from her own journey as a mother of three daughters and a pediatric dentist determined to get to the root of her patients' struggles.
Her dedication to addressing sleep-disordered breathing has led her to pursue extensive education in airway health and tethered oral tissues, with a focus on their long-term impact on growth and development. She firmly believes that early intervention in infancy and childhood can prevent many issues before they arise.
Dr. Ozzie has advanced training in growth guidance orthodontics as well as frenectomies and functional frenuloplasties. She believes that collaborative care leads to the best outcomes, which is why she has built a strong referral network and works closely with like-minded providers to comprehensively address each child's unique needs.
Over the past five years, her commitment to understanding pediatric sleep-disordered breathing has driven her to complete numerous courses from industry leaders, continually expanding her knowledge base. She remains an active learner as the fields of tethered oral tissues, growth guidance, and functional medicine continue to evolve.

Tongue or Lip-Tie
A frenectomy is a surgical procedure that removes the frenulum, a small piece of tissue located either under the tongue (known as a tongue-tie) or beneath the upper lip (referred to as a lip-tie). This tissue can restrict the movement of the tongue or lip, which may affect teeth alignment, jaw development, and speech.

Dr. Ozzie is a board certified pediatric dentist, which comes with years of additional training in the care of children from infancy through adolescence. She has dedicated herself to learning and collaborating with leaders in the airway movement, to better learn how she can best help her patients in a functional, holistic way, as early in their development as possible.

From soft, airy colors and Montessori toddler toys we want you and your child to enter into peaceful, calm space. Designed with a dedicated nursing area, beverage and snack bar, every aspect of our space was designed with you and your child’s comfort and well-being in mind.

As an advocate for honoring anatomical and physiological normalcies, Dr. Ozzie’s goal is proper diagnosis and treatment protocols to 1) avoid unnecessary procedures and over-treatment and 2) to address the importance of establishing optimal oral motor function and tongue posture early on to support feeding, breathing, sleeping, and speaking habits as babies grow. Collaborative care that holds a focus on empowering parents is something that Dr. Ozzie and her team are so passionate about!
